Can I do this?

I'm calling tomorrow to make my reservations for Jan. 08. I'll be booking a 2BR at SSR (my home). I'll need to borrow 13 points from my next UY to get the number of nights I'll need.

Here are my questions:

1. At the 7 month window, I'm going to try to change the ressie to BWV in a BW view. To do that I will need to borrow more points. Can I borrow points a 2nd time?

2. In the event, the number of people change and I come to only need a
1 BR instead of the 2, will they use the borrowed points first and the others I can return to my account to bank or use at a later date (prior to my UY expiring)?

I'm still learning the ins and outs of these points!

1. You can borrow points as often as you need to, up to the total number of points in the use year. Once borrowed, they can no be unborrowed and returned to their "true" use year.

2) Assuming a one bedroom is available, yes, they should be able to use the borrowed points first, and that will free up the current use year's points to their regular banking window restrictions.

Also, the BW view at Boardwalk is VERY popular and less than 20% of the available rooms.. You may not get it at 7 months, though the waitlist is a possibility. Be sure you would be happy with the other views before you spend extra points.

I had good luck in oct. getting BWV BW view. I really liked it. I'll waitlist for it again, but if it doesn't come through, I'll be just as happy with SSR.

We got BWV standard view and were waitlisted for BW view at 7 months, but it didn't come through. That was for a stay the last week of August in a studio. I imagine a 2 BR would be more difficult.
