So I leave for a trip planned last minute (sort of! I booked the room a long time ago for an amazing rate, thinking I probably wouldn't go).

Anyhow, I am going, staying a week offsite, but taking my son and a friend to Disneyworld for a YES class.

Planning on meeting up with a local relative that has a two year old.

I would actually like to spend just one night with the little one at The Campgrounds. She won't be going to Disneyworld.

My relative will take the other two kids to the world that day. I also have a YES ticket that I will be using that day.

What I am wondering is this. Can I add the Dining plan for that one night? Will parking on resort be free for check in and check out day? Can I add my two year old to dining plan without a disney ticket, if I am getting one?

I am just doing quick service. I like the mug, and I do make the most of my quick service meals, so I think it will be worth it.

Any thoughts? I know you all have so much expertise, I would ask before I call Disney.

Thanks,
Tracey

Disney was offering a "ticket-less dining package" earlier this year. They may have extended the booking window, and if so, that's what you want. It was never offered online. You had to call in order to book it. That would be your first step. Those "ticket-less dining packages" had to be booked at rack rate. It's possible that not all of the resorts participated.

In the past, you had to purchase tickets for everyone 3 and over if you wanted to book the dining plan packages. There were exceptions (DVC staying on points, military salute guests, AP holders). If you wanted to "upgrade" a child in order to get a dining plan for them, you also needed to purchase a ticket for them.

So, if the "ticket-less dining packages" are still being offered and they are available at FW, then you're set. If they aren't, then you won't be able to get a dining plan without buying another ticket for yourself and one for the child.
