Can I do a DCL with half points and half casH?

Kids would like to try the 5 day cruise as our next adventure. With 6 of us, way to much money. can I combine cruise cash and points? When are cheapest times to go?

You can if you split the reservations, like if you are getting two rooms but if they whole thing is say 1000 points you can not split it. Does that make sense? I was only 5 points short of the catagory I wanted and they would not let me pay, I didn't know about transfering.

In a nutshell:

At least one person per cabin must pay with points (at the adult rate). Every one else can pay cash. The cash rate will be the rate DVC negotiated with DCL. It can be more or less than what DCL is currently charging (depending how far in advance you book).

You cannot pay for one person with points and cash. Each person is either all points or all cash.

I pd for the 2 adults with points and they charged me $279 for my daughter.
this is for a 3 night cruise.

Does anyone know if that price is reasonable?
