Can I combine points and the kids sail free?

Hi,

My 1st DCL I used points and paid cash for my daughter.....Now with this promotion...Is it possible to use points for maybe 1 passenger.....pay for 2nd and get kid free.

Or any combo that would get the kids free.....I know

That is a good question and Member Services should be able to answer for you. My guess is no, since DVC negotiates rates with DCL and those rates do not change throughout the year. I would bet you would have to purchase the kids sale free promo only through DCL.

No, any promotions that WDW or DCL or DL have for guests cannot be combined with DVC points.

Transfer the points you want to use for the cruise to a fellow member in exchange for cash. Book the cruise on cash and get the kid for free.

problem is i have a WLV stay at the end of the year with a 3 night disney cruise. I borrowed points so I have to use all of these points by march 2010. About 375.

What is easier....trying to "sell" my ressie and change names....or cancel my ressie and try to rent the points...but they will expire by april....

Aargh...the stress....

Did you already book the cruise on points? If you cancel that, the points become reservation points and must be used for non-DVC reservations. Plus they expire at the end of your UY.

If you change the name on the reservation, you will still have to pay the $95 change fee.
