Can I call OKW before I check in?

Our plane arrives at 7:30 pm.

We have reservations for a 2 bedroom at OKW. I requested non-smoking and near the hospitality house. I know that requests are just that, a request. I was wondering if I could call OKW before we left home and see if they already have my room assigned and let them know that we will be arriving late. Or with the late arrival time are we going to be stuck way out somewhere without a car and have to do the bus everytime we want to swim in the main pool or go to the store?

On our last stay we got to OKW at 9:30 or 10:00 pm. Really late for us! Any how, we were in Bldg 55, the fartherest from HH but closest to DTD! It was a great location, really quiet and right by the quiet pool that is there. One day I walked to DTD (a pretty good way) and took the boat back to OKW.. Walked from HH to our bldg and thought it was take me a while, but it was only about a 10 min walk. Not bad!

So even if you are "stuck" aways away, it might not be a bad thing.

I never request anything other than non-smoking for medical reasons. I LOVE the South Point area (farthest from HH), but the last 5-6 trips, we have always gotten near HH. Not sure why, since I NEVER have requested that location. I suspect it's because I make my reservations 11 months in advance, and that's how they make the assignments. You can NOT request a check-in site until you check in, and you can't do that without being there. When you do check in prior to 4PM, your room might not be ready, but they will usually tell you what building you are in, and you can call back to find out the room number. Don't worry about it. We have never been disappointed, eve when we first didn't think we would like a specific building. The first time I got building 15, I groaned. It turned out I LOVED the location!
