Can I call Disney Direct for AAA Rate?

Just wondering if it is possible to call disney for a AAA rate, or do I have to call AAA? Last time I called the agent was disney clueless about me only wanting to buy a 1 day pass and add dining for the entire stay. Thanks

You can call Disney and get the AAA rate you don't need to go through AAA. I called two weeks ago and got my AAA rate right from Disney since AP rates for June haven't come out yet.

I called disney last night and asked about the AAA rate. He told me I could only get it for the room only. I couldn't add dinning unless I had tickets for the lenght of stay. Needless to say I am calling back.

I'm pretty sure that you can book only room-only with AAA discount when going directly to CRO... a package deal (inc. tix) is required for the dining plan. you'll probably need to go through an AAA agent for that.

You can book Disney direct for a AAA rate as long as they still have rooms available. You must have your AAA number when you book a AAA rate Disney direct. They do ask for it. I just cancelled a reservation I had made with AAA because my agent did not put in all of our requests. Plus when you book direct you do not have to pay the $25 AAA service charge and you can view your reservations on line at Disney. If you need tickets they are not a part of the package and you buy them seperate. Tickets are the same price through AAA or Disney. The only difference is that when you book through Disney you will pay 1 nights room deposit and the full price of your ticket Vs a $200 deposit with AAA. However if you go with AAA you have to pay in full 45 days before you arrive and if you book with Disney direct you do not pay your balance until you arrive.

I think if you want a package with dining you have to go through AAA. I haven't tried to make our reservations yet though.

I just booked a room only reservation through Disney today with a AAA rate... they did not ask for my AAA number (I'm not a member yet, plan to join before going there). All they said was that I'd need to show my card at check in.

I booked my reservation directly through CRO and asked for the AAA rate for CBR. Had absolutely no problem, and was not asked to give my membership number. Very nice lady taking reservations took down all my requests and answered all my questions! Went ahead and billed first night on cc, and told me I could pay balance upon check in, or make payments a little bit at a time through them.

You can book a AAA rate on a room only reservation through Disney directly (or through any travel agent.)
You CANNOT book a package with a AAA discount through Disney direct (or any travel agent that is not at a AAA agency)
So if you want dining, and want a AAA discount you cannot book through Disney directly.
