Can I buy points with credit card?

As said, direct yes resale no. Resale will usually take a deposit on CC but not the whole payment. Be careful using the CC checks. Most CC companies consider using the checks to be a cash advance and not a charge to your CC. They carry higher interest rates and that is why you get two or three in each bill...

Not only can yo do it, it makes it so easy.

I am Canadian and getting a Money Order or Cashiers cheque for USD is a bit of a pain. We paid with our credit card for our original purchase and our two add ons. Just paid it off with the cash we had for the purchase when the bill came due.

Within 24 hours of my phone call to MS, I had the points ready to use in my account (the forms came a couple of weeks later).

I know buying direct is more expensive but the service is spectacular (and for small purchases, makes up for the costs, IMHO).

I asked this question to The Timeshare Store about a week ago. The initial deposit can be done on the CC with a $35 fee. However, you cannot charge the balance. She (Jamie) said you can use a CC check to yourself, deposit it, then use a cashier's check.

We just added on two 50 point contracts yesterday directly thru Disney. We used our Disney Visa to pay for both....no interest for 6 months....

Congrats on your add on! It's always fun to get more points :cool1: and get extra money to spend in Disney on top of it!

FYI
Jason from TTS told me earlier this week that TTS will accept a CC for deposit of upto $1000 but that there is indeed a $35 charge for doing so.
