Can I bring this onboard

My kids are in love with Salmon jerky. I personnaly do not get it but when I find somethng that they will eat I go with it. Willl I be able to bring it onboard the ship with us? It will be in a sealed bag. We get it from a local market so it is just a clear bag with the name of the market holding it colsed.

Reality--in 20+ cruises, no one has ever asked or inspected our carry on luggage at boarding. Technically, the product must be sealed in the original packaging...but at various times I've brought a 6 pack of DD's favorite bagels, etc. which were not sealed.

The real issue is that if there is any left, you will not be allowed to bring it OFF the ship.
