I am going this Saturday to buy an AAA membership, I would then like to get two rooms at one of the resorts, one for my family, (DH, DS and myself) and one for my sister and her two girls. Can I book two rooms through AAA? And can you request the rooms to be adjoining?

A second question, we are planning on going August 13 for four nights? Do you think this is too long to stay? We would probably get to the resort around 2 or 3 in the afternoon on the 13th? I've been trying to decide whether to stay for 3 or 4 nights? The kids ages will be 13, 11 and 8, and we plan on taking our time at the parks. Going back to the hotel at noonish and resting before going back to the parks in the evening. I know the day we check-out we will want to leave early, so no doing the parks that day.

Only one discount is allowed per room. It might be worth it for your sister to get AAA as well. It probably only costs around $50 but the discount might be worth it.

Four nights is a great length of time to stay in the summer. You can really take advantage of coming back to the hotel in the afternoons and swimming.

I had asked AAA that same question and was told that if I were paying for both rooms, I could use my AAA membership discount (if there is one at the time) towards both rooms...I still purchased a membership for my adult son, any way...just in case...:cutie:

Thanks, I guess I'll check when I go to the AAA place, maybe even go ahead and book the room(s) while I'm threre. I keep telling myself that I should wait until next year to go (money is a little tight), but I don't think I can stand to wait that long!

not all AAA locations give correct advise. some are more up on the knowledge for theme park stays.

would AAA be booking your ressies for you?

or are you booking direct with the AAA discount?

i book direct with universal resorts and tell them i have the AAA for the discount. call UO and ask them if you are allowed to book 2 rooms for 1 AAA card.

you can add a person on to your AAA membership for only $10 a person as long as that person lives with you. if it is an adult child, up to age 25 can be on your account membership.

i added my son when he was 22 as he was living at home at the time.
when he was activated by the army national guard, he was allowed to stay on my account to age 25. if you added your son, it is cheaper than a separate membership with AAA. hope you did an add on for son in case you find out you can book 2 rooms for the family with one card.

I believe I read on their website that you can book up to 2 rooms, using your AAA rate. Check their site.

Special Note: To receive AAA/CAA member rates as identified below, a AAA/CAA membership card must be presented at check-in. Only two rooms per member may be booked at the AAA rate.

This is right from their site. If I understood your question correctly you should be all set.

That is the standard quote at the bottom of every booking on the AAA/CAA site.

When we booked rooms this summer we had to use AAA for one room and AARP for the other. Loews would not let us use AAA for two rooms.

Your best bet is to call the Loews number and ask them what their current policy is.

When we booked HRH with the annual pass a month ago, we were told we would need one pass per room.

You can always claim ignorance though and say that the AAA site said two rooms per card.

I have two rooms booked with one AAA card. I called RPR directly and asked the question. At first I was re-routed to various different people but finally spoke to an individual who assured me I could get two rooms with one card. He gave me his name in the event I had any problems when we go. I would call directly and confirm with a name!

have him send you an email to confirm what he guaranteed you.
he might not be working or still employed at the hotel/UO when you do go and check in.

if you have something in writing, the hotel will honor it.
