Can I book FD if I don't know who's coming?

Some friends and I were kicking around the idea of taking a few days off and going for free dining...can I make a reservation for 4 if I don't know for sure who the four will be? If I just make it for the two I know for certain will go, can I add the other two later?

I think I would book with the best guess who the 4 are, and double check that you can change names...(I thought I asked that when I called and the answer was yes).
