I already have a trip planned using the Kids stay free GP offer. My friend is thinking about going the same time we go but has no PIN. I just got the FD PIN is it possible for me to book the trip for her but have her pay for it on her own?

Only if you are going too. In the past PINS could be used for up to three rooms and each room could pay separately. The PIN codes are not transferrable, so if are not going you can't apply it to your friend's room even if you book it for her.

Edited: I see you are already going under a different promo code. Doesn't hurt to call and ask WDTC if your res has to be under the same PIN code or if you can keep your promo and get a second room under the PIN for your friend. In this case get a supervisor, the regular CM's might not know. Of course, do the math first! See if the PIN code would save her more $$$ than the Kids Free or room % off promos.

The logic is this: If you originally booked two rooms under a PIN code and later wanted to change a promo on one of them I'm pretty sure that's allowed. No reason why they shouldn't allow it in reverse. BUT this is Disney and rules are strange........

I am going at the same time, or will be there the same time, but wont be using this PIN for my own trip.

You are required to use the pin for your own trip. In other words, you must be the lead reservation booked with the pin and showing you as the lead guest in one of the rooms. Then any additional rooms can be booked in friends/families names. The dates/resort for all additional rooms must coincide with your lead reservation as well.

Be aware you cannot be the lead guest on two simultaneous discounted rooms, such as one for 40% off and one for FD. This can potentially cancel out your discounts.

my friend got the kids stay and play free. She booked for herself, her DH and her DS9 & and DD7. Her DD17 had drill camp the month of August and said she did not really want to go.

Then...........my friend gets a 35% off on value/moderate PIN, talks to her mom and she wants to go, and it just happens that the week they had their vacation planned for was the only week that did not interfere with drill camp soooooo DD17 decided she did want to go too.

Therefore.....she has one room booked with kids stay and play free and one room booked (with the PIN she got-- but the main person in the other room is her mom's name!!) with 35%.

Seemed really odd to me but it happened:confused3

Then that is truly unfair to the hundreds of other pin holders who are unable to transfer their pin's to friends/family without them actually using the pin themselves. :sad2: Regardless if the pin holder is staying onsite at the same time, they are required to be a part of the party/reservation using the pin *they* received.

I have booked multiple rooms with pins, 4 rooms total for our upcoming trip, and this is what has always been required of me.

Hey,Hey,Hey.....don't shoot the messenger.

I was just sharing what the CM allowed her to do.....and the CM even cross related the ressies.

It may be unfair to all the others but she just ask if she could use it for her daughter and mom since they were going to have to get an extra room and the CM let her. How would she know that she was doing anything wrong.:confused3
