We were thinking about skipping Disney this year but I have received 4 pin codes for different offers the past 2 weeks. Now, digging into each offer and comparing to online pricing, the 4 day 3 night deal is the best. Careful if you get pins because they are using full rack rates and discounting them.( I.E. 500 dollar gift card offer,or kids stay play and eat free)

Anyway I have no expire tickets left over from last year and I want to use them this year. If I book a 4/3 package at 2 adults with a 1 day ticket I can save almost 800 dollars vs a 2 adults 3 kids MYW package. Can I add my kids after I book the reservation or at check in so I dont have to pay for the children's tickets as part of the package?

Thanks

No, not doing the dining plan, inconvenient, and not a necessity for our family. We are staying in a cabin so snacks and some meals are taken care of. I spend less to eat than what I would ultimately save with the dining plan. I just would like to save the cost of the tickets. I dont see why I couldn't the room rate would be the same regardless since the children are not adults. The savings in substantial enough to pose the question......without asking Disney of course.

I am so getting flamed! Then I say just bring the kids w/o saying anything. I am pretty sure that if you are "honest" about it you have to buy them the 1 day tix. I believe that if anyone is on the package, everyone has to be. In fact, I've heard here that someone had to pay for the dining package for a family member that was only going to be with them for a few days (i.e. she was there for 7 days, therefore 7 days on ddp, her DH could only be there 4 days due to work and she still had to pay for 7 days for him).

thanks for confirming my thought. I am sure that there are a lot of people out there that do just that. I don't feel like paying for something twice or that I don't need.

No problem...I just hope I don't get those nasty pm's that I hear about all the time here on the Dis for even suggesting something like that. Have a great time!
