There is a 25% discount offer on right now for Canadians buying park tickets. I need three days of passes. Want to hop once. The tickets are only discounted from four days on.

Turns out the four day pass is cheaper than a nondiscounted three day hopper pass.

Can I buy the four day and just use two of my days to enable hopping on one of my days?

My plan is

One day MK
One day EP
Half day AK
Half day HS

Would use pass day one MK
Pass day 2 EP
Pass day 3 HS
Pass day 4 AK

HS and AK would be on same day.

Unfortunately, no. That would always be cheaper so it isn't allowed.

And the second ticket can not be linked to the same person. It has to be an unlinked separate ticket.

Really? I guess you could prioritize it for the second park so that gets used or would that not work also?

Or an AP... which obviously doesn't fit this scenario.

On a side note... I wonder when Disney will come up with a new category. Non-hopping AP's..??

If it is a linked ticket it won't register at the other park. It will keep pulling your already used tickets since technically the rules are you can't use multiple tickets on the same day. This is also to prevent comp tickets from being used to create park hoppers especially since they pop up at school fundraisers and the idea of fundraiser tickets is to get you to disney for cheap and then you spend more once you get there.

The special 4-day/4-park ticket would work for you, if you'd use it by the expiration date.

No I don't think it would. I am only there three days and plan to hop on one day to get all four parks in. The four day Canadian park hopper is still cheaper than an undiscounted three day hopper so I will get that. Thanks everyone.

A cast member at dvc member services said it was doable but I thought I'd ask here. So even Disney doesn't know. I believe you guys over a phone agent.

That special four-park ticket allows you entry into each park once (and re-admittance on the same day), but, unlike every other ticket you can buy, it allows you to burn two "parks" on the same day.

Really!? Thank you very much!

Is that something special for the Canadian version? The U.S. version states "four separate days" :

"The 4-Park Magic Ticket grants you one day of admission to Magic Kingdom park, one day of admission to Epcot, one day of admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and one day of admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on 4 separate days, so you can enjoy must-do experiences in all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks. Ticket may not be used to enter the same park more than once."

Yes. It's for Canadians. It is simply a 25% off sale on any park ticket four days and up.

So you would be getting 25% off a 3 or 4 day HOPPER ticket, not the special 4 Parks ticket, right? Unless there is something different on the Canadian version, you still cannot use the special 4 parks ticket at two different parks on the same day. It looked like supersnoop was saying you could burn two parks on the same day, but that's not the way the rules read to me.
