Can I be listed on two ressies at different resorts for the same night?

Here goes----
I have a family group of 8 traveling to WDW this June to celebrate son in law's return from Afganistan. Right now we have a OKW GV and an OKW studio so that each couple can have their own bedroom and bath. I want to try to switch the first two nights to BLT, probably 2 2bdrms. This is where it gets tricky. If I can only get 1 2 bdrm, technically that covers all 8 of us(and a 3month old) so that we can go up to TOTW and watch the fireworks and enjoy the lounge, but some of us would want to go back to OKW to avoid cramped sleeping conditions. So can some of us be listed as guests on both ressies to get the BLT privileges and still sleep at OKW?

Yes. Just make sure that the lead person on the reservations is not the same person on both rooms. Last February we stayed for a week at BWV but wanted to do the Sunrise Safari at AKV, which requires a concierge reservation at AKV. So we booked one night concierge at AKV with my name first on the reservation. The BWV room had DH as first name on the reservation. We never even slept in the AKV room because we didn't want to move our stuff, so we just registered and hung out in the room for a while and had dinner at Boma.
P.S. Loved the Safari, so doing the double booking was worth it for us.

Based on your experience,should this work? I am lead on a reservation at BWV with DH. There is another reservation at AKV with MIL as lead along with FIL. I want to add DH and myself to the in-laws reservation so we can do the safari together.

Yes, as long as you are not over occupancy, that should work fine. Call back if the CM at MS is reluctant. And be sure to call the AKV concierge to reserve spots for all of you on the Safari. Do not forget that some safaris are only on certain days of the week. Good luck!
