Can I add DDP to my 40% discounted room?

I got in on the controversial 40% off room code...
At the time I did not think that we wanted DDP...
Now after doing some figuring, doing some research...talking w/ my mom...of course, now we DEFINITELY want DDP!
Then I freaked...will they let us add DDP? (I realize this is NOT free DDP, but I worry that since we got such a terrific discount they won't let us do DDP)

I would think so. DH and I also booked with the 40% off (we had a postcard) and were able to book the DDP (although we booked the DDP at the same time we booked the resort -- GF). Good Luck!

well, as I recall, they were technically different codes (one for a package and one for room only). BUT, Disney has historically not had a problem if you were adding on to your reservation, at least a lot less than if you are trying to take something off.

Call and try. If it doesn't work the first time, call back. If you get the same answer three or four times in a row, then ask to speak to a supervisor to see if they can work some magic.

But, did you get a package with tickets originally, or is it a room only with 40% discount? That might make a difference.
