Can I add days to PH if I won them?

Hello all my helpful Disney buddies!

I won a couple nights at the resort along with 4 3-day PH thru my radio station. I know that others have been able to add days to their PH by going to the ticket booth before they used the last day, can I do this with PH that I won?

I asked the Disney Travel Dept that does the scheduling and they said "no". But I know that we have seen wrong answers before

Anyone done this before? You would think that they want you to stay longer!

My guess is they are comp tickets with no face value since they were a prize. When you add days to a parkhopper, you pay the difference between the face value of the ticket and the price of the number of days hopper you are upgrading to. If your tickets have no face value, then the only way to "add" days would be to buy new tickets for the number of additional days you need.

I won tickets from our local radio station last year. When I picked them up they said right on the ticket no upgrades. If your tickets have a value and no verbiage saying it cannot be upgraded I would think you could do it.

I was hoping I would not have to buy additional parkhoppers....oh well! I still have 2 nights free at the GC...can't complain...too much!

If they can not be upgraded here is what I would do. I would have 2 family members use 2 of the tickets each and just buy two 6 day tickets for the other 2 family members. That would cost less than buying four more tickets.
