Hello,
I'm sure that this has been discussed somewhere, so I apologize for re-asking the question; I just can't seem to find the answer: We will be staying onsite for a few nights, so can enter the park early to get fastpasses for WOC, I believe, but would this just be for the later showing? We'd like the earlier showing (during the last two weeks of July). Is the situation that the earlier showing would be or may already be sold out to people who buy picnic or dinner packages? I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy the picnics. Do I need to, in order to see the earlier WOC show?
Thank you!!

If you are staying onsite, you already have at least a 30 min advantage in getting WOC FPs over the masses who aren't staying on DL property. Just get to the FP machines by 9:30am and you'll certainly get the first showing. I wouldn't worry about the picnics or dining patrons filling up the first show. I would estimate no more than 15% of WOC guests actually used any kind of dining package

Now if you get your FPs around 10:30 or later, then you might risk getting the 2nd show if it was super busy.

Have you read this thread yet?

This and the links it provides will explain the process better. Or at least educate you enough to ask the right questions.

23bw and Hydroguy,
Thank you very much for your responses and the superthread! I think that I will wait to get fastpasses for WOC, as early as I can during one of our on-site hotel days, and will feel more confident of being able to see the first show:)

Getting there early will get you a Fast Pass in the Blue or Left section, as they fill the pass requests left to right as far as I can tell when talking to other quests. We were just there the first week of June and the early pass were still available at Noon. The park was somewhat crowded with the opening of Little Mermaid and re opening of Star Tours.
