Hi,

Friends of ours are thinking of going to WDW with us in Nov 2005. They are a family of five. I have heard that you can request a rollaway bed for $25 a night to fit five in a room. Is this correct? Has anyone actually done this?

Yes, $25 a night for a rollout is correct. My inlaws did that last summer at the Swan. There's room to do it at the Dolphin also, but I haven't personally seen it. I also think you do have to pay extra if there is a 3rd adult in a standard room.

We are a family of 5 and have stayed at the Dolphin a couple of times (with our third reservation for this fall;) ). Five do fit in a room, but it will be a little crowded if there are more than 2 adults. Instead of $25 for a roll-away bed (is that a night?), we invested in a twin-size inflatable mattress and carry it with us for a 5th person. Fortunately, my children were still small enough to all fit in one bed on our last couple of trips. The beds are just to comfy to put one of them on an inflatable or roll-away!;) :teeth:

This is a great idea. At the time of the trip it would be two adults with children ages 15 & 8yr old boys and a 13yr old girl. All of the kids are small for there ages so the 15yr and 8yr could share a bed and the 13yr could sleep on the inflatable mattress. I know that they camp so they might already have one.

To answer your question yes it is $25 a night for the roll away.

We fit five in a room last year at the swan, I thougth we had enough room. We are not in the room that much. Room was just renovated and beautiful. Have fun and enjoy the boardwalk area.
No better area around.
