Can DVC renters use Magical Express

We are renting points from someone and they think we can book ME. Can we? I'm nervous since they booked the reservation and I really haven't talked to anyone at WDW.

I'm SO sorry if this question has been asked a million times. I've used the search function and have not come up with anything. I read in the FAQ that DVC members can use ME, but what about renters?

Yes you can. Give them your flight info, they have to do it for you.

You will receive you ME info 45 days prior to travel.

renters can no longer call MS so you have no way of checking on the reservation until a few days before and then you can call the resort.

I think ME is available for the next several years if I remember correctly from another post I can't find at the moment. It is definitely good through the end of this year.

I have not heard that ME Is expiring? I have read too, that there was a several year contract. I talked to MS today on ME for another matter, she didn't say anything to me about any changes.
