Has anyone had their reception at Studio 17 in Disneyland? I was thinking about it because it says they can do pretty much anything you can think of. Well, I have a crazy idea for our entrance, but I would like to hear some feedback from anyone who has used this location.

I dont know if anyone has used this venue before but disney will probably do anything you want as long as you are willing to PAY for it.

Does that include a flying harness and rig? :rolleyes1 I have always LOVED Peter Pan since I was little, and I thought it would be cool if that was part of my theme. The other day I thought it would be cool to do something different for the bride and groom entrance instead of the same old walk in. Soooo, I thought it would be kind of neat and fun to come flying in on a harness into the reception. Take the whole Peter Pan thing to a new level lol. This is what happens when I have tons of time to think about this stuff lol. :rotfl:

I would suspect they won't do this due to safety concerns. However, if they did do it, I would hate to see the bill for it! :faint:

I would like to also point out that the rules for wdw and dl are quite different, and most of the brides (and grooms) on here are wdw brides.

Not sure about Disneyland but we asked Disneyworld if we could use the metal soldiers from the Christmas parade to do a character greeting... We were told no, no matter how much we would be willing to pay. And it's not like they would be using them at the time we needed them since our ceremony starts at 10 AM. Don't get your hopes up for something... I'm bummed now lol

I have no idea whether this is possible but just wanted to say it would be great if you can and i think its an amazing idea! but I think the old health and safety officers would have a field day with this one!
