We have twin DD's both age 10. They aren't extrememly picky, but I don't think they could eat a whole TS meal. Does anyone know if they would be allowed to share? We are going to choose some meals that are buffets, so they can get a variety. They eat pretty good, but there are some evenings when we go out that I share a meal with both of them. Just wondering.

There is no sharing at buffets, family-style meals or other all you can eat dining. Otherwise, you will probably be able to share.

We paid OOP for DS 10 (in December, old plan) for him to order kids meals at most of the TS. He wasn't going to eat most of the adult choices, or eat that much. At the buffets & family style meals, he used his adult TS credit and we definitely got our money's worth out of that. He likes buffets!

As for "his" leftover TS credits, we used them for other meals for us :goodvibes

Oh, I know at buffets and restaurants that serve family style we'd have to pay for each. I was wondering like if we went to 50's cafe could they share a fried chicken plate and only use one ts credit. The last time we went it was during free dining and I read where they didn't like you to do that, which I understood during free dining. Just wondering if anyone had ever tried it.

I have read that as long as everyone dining is on the DDP, then a meal can be shared between them. If a person dining is not on the DDP, then that person cannot share, but has to pay cash.
In fact, we have shared twice this way. We all were on the plan and could show that on our room keys (but were not asked to). My sister is a very small eater and simply did not want that much food at every meal.

We were on the DDP in May 2007. Myself, DW, DD14, DD12, DD8. My two eldest shared a meal at every non-buffet style restaurant we ate at (we bought an additional drink though). We had no trouble at all.

This included Artist Point, Mama Melrose, Coral Reef, Marrakesh and Chefs de France.

When we were on free dining plan last September, (there were 5 adults), at most of the al a carte restaurants, I ordered just an appetizer and drink and paid cash for those. With that and sharing off of DHs entree, we had plenty of food. Also for the deserts, the 4 using credits each ordered something different, we put them in the middle of the table and each took a spoon and had a taste of everything.
