Big family trip at Universal for early spring but no tickets released, how long would you wait to change plans?

I booked 3 separate hotel rooms to bring the whole family to Universal in early spring and Universal has still not released tickets for 2026. How long is long enough to wait before deciding this might indicate red flags and a mess so it might be best to avoid? I'm close to the line or abandoning this as a no go

When we went to universal, islands, & epic, tickets were only released 60 days prior to trip. HTH

I think they normally release packages about a year ahead, but plain tickets closer to the dates. I don't think it's anything to worry about, just that they don't like to set prices too far ahead.

They will eventually release them. It's still very far off. What do think they are just not going to release them?

Packages are released and available with rooms and tickets… no reason to book things separately. Your rooms are refundable at this point so I’d suggest moving forward with booking packages and then canceling your room only reservations.

Just so you know… if any family members in this case are trying to go to Epic, be prepared for the Stardust to remain fizzled. Unfortunate death occurred and investigations are ongoing.
