Can DD4 read my mind?

DH and I have been planning a Feb. 2008 trip since July, and we're going to do a big "reveal" for DDs 2 and 4 on Christmas. It's been so hard to keep it a secret, and I can't wait to tell them!

Last week, DD4 was looking at photos from a friend's WDW trip last March, and she asked if Gracie missed school to go on vacation. I said no, it was spring break. So she has decided that we should go to WDW during spring break this year. I thought it was funny, and I told her we'd think about it, but we really needed to save our money first, and her sister needed to be a little bigger.

Then we had friends over, and the Mom told DD4 she could have a playdate during break (meaning winter break, which started today). DD4 said she couldn't, she was going to Disney World on break.

Now I REALLY can't wait to tell her, because I know she's going to be so excited! Or maybe she'll just say, "Yeah, Mom. I already knew we were going." I'm a tiny bit worried she'll be upset at first about missing school (including her Valentine's party), but I know she'll get over it pretty quickly!

Yay!! How fun! We're doing the same for our kids next Thanksgiving, but they haven't guessed. Well, not yet anyway And there's no way she'll even remember that there WAS a Valentines party, Disney trumps all other suits!

I can so relate to ya... we last minute started planing our '08 march trip last weekend... yeah dh is nuts what can i say though we'd start plaing '09 but not he springs this on me! LOL
So i go the planning DVD in the mail, dd who's 5 always watchs the old one, so she wanted to see it...
We have a big family, grandmparents, my dad, my sister, ect all going up to the Dells this coming summer and all along we have told the kids that we'd have to wait till next year to do disney again... as she was watching she kept saying why are we doing to thoes dumb water slides ... why oh why can't we just do back to Disney world!!! LOL little does she know we are !!! Oh 5 more days of SHHHH!

It's amazing the timing children can have. We are taking our daughter to her first WDW trip in June (lucky her, her 4th B-day will be during the trip). We haven't really said anything about WDW, but just the other day we get "I'm going to walt disney world someday, and you two (mommy & daddy) are coming with me." All I could think about is "Little do you know....."
