Can Convention Tickets Be Upgraded?

Sister has 6-day park hopper convention tickets for her dates (expires 14 days after), but wants to upgrade them to annual pass while she is there. Is that possible? Not trying to get "full value" (meaning gate price), just what she ACTUALLY paid towards the AP price. She said they don't say non-upgradable or anything, but I know that, like at Disney World, YES tickets can't be upgraded, even for the value they were bought at, and wondered if same applied here.

I don't know for sure. In general tickets can be upgraded from the price you paid to the price of the ticket or pass you want. The only example I can think of immediately is military tickets can not be upgraded.

Yes we have done that in the past. You can upgrade them.

Another question for Convention Tix.... if you have a 5 day hopper convention ticket, does it have one MM still??

No, unfortunately convention tickets do not entitle you to MM, no matter how many days are on them.

Yay. Thank you! Since I "have" to get an AP for hotel rate, she was thinking of upgrading too (lives in CA) so we can wiggle out a second visit with family and kiddos, but they'd already bought the convention tix.
