I needed to request a 2 bedroom "elevator for medical reasons" at HH and was told that ALL 2 bedrooms in the Inn are lockoffs. Is that true? If so, that really stinks. So, you are disabled therefore you can't possibly need 2 beds in the 2nd. bedroom?? I fail to see the logic. Any chance MS was wrong?

I am not sure about all the rooms for handicapped, but our 2 bedroom was in the main building and it had a bed and sofa in the other bedroom. It was nice but I prefer 2 beds in the other bedroom. You might call HH and ask them to be sure.

There are no ground floor units at HH as all units are elevated due to the possibility of a flood. Non-lodge 1st floor units are about 10-12 steps to reach from ground level.

In spite of the room set-up, I hope you have a great HH trip. It is my favorite DVC resort.

Buildings 11 and 12 are accessed by elevator, but I do think all rooms there are lock-off units. At most, there would be two dedicated 2BR Villas in that area, but I think those are lock-offs also- all of the HCA rooms are there as no other buildings have elevator access and as Johnnie Fedora mentioned, there are no ground floor units at all at HH.
