Can anyone tell me about WDW 20 yr/ mirrored park lamp post?

I have a mirrored, odd shaped sign/plaque that was posted at WDW/MK and I purchased it at the store just to the right of the MK entrance.........where they had items for sale to the right of the entrance to Lady and the Tramp restaurant. Purchased in late 1980's/early 1990's. OK, now I took geometry, but I can't remember the word for this sign...........kind of rectangle, BUT........ANGLES OUT FROM BOTTOM and has a curved top. Background is mirrored, Very colorful...........Big pink(?) letters at top say "SURPRISE!"..........JACK IN THE BOX HAS A 20 ON IT WITH A CASTLE COMING OUT OF THE BOX. Below box says "YEARS" in pink (?) and below that is Walt D(with MM inside) isney World ,,,,,,,,,there is some kind of R enclosed in a circle under the D. Under the box is a "copyright???" sign that says "C ( in a circle) The Walt Disney Company.

Can anyone give me info regarding the value/ history?

You purchased this at the Disneyana Shop late '92 or '93, before it was moved, and then squeezed out of the park. You probably paid $150.

For the twenty year anniversary, each of the 3 parks had a different street sign. If I remember correctly, the MK had the round 20th logo sign and the one you have was from Disney-MGM Studios. I don't remember what EPCOT used. I looked through trip photos from back then, but found nothing.

Unfortunately, if you tried to sell it on eBay currently, you probably would be disappointed that you could not get what you paid for it.

Thanks for your information. Overall from my "threads" (whatever they are) I have learned much about my two lamp post signs (didn't even know what they were called before this site!). It seems most agree this is not a good time to sell WDW stuff on ebay. Thank you for everything. This site is great!
