Hi to all! We are arriving next sat 7/29. We are staying @ BWV. We have all our ADR's for the week made;I was wondering about Beaches and Cream for dinner that Saturday? What is the menu like? Is this a sit down or more counter service? I didn't want to have to force kids into a long dinner after spending the day travelling. Also do I need an ADR? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Angel

They don't take ADRs. Arrive early (best before 5:00) or be prepared to wait anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. It is a sit down restaurant with booths, tables and seats at the counter. 50's style soda shop atmosphere with fountain sodas, burgers, hot dogs, salads, a few different sandwiches, fries, onion rings, soup, chili....that's about it. Nothing fancy, but very good. And Ice Cream.....oh, the ice cream. Even though nothing fancy, the combination of atmosphere, food, and ice cream make this place a regular stop for us.

This is a ice cream/sandwich place. It is a TS credit. They don't take ADRs and the wait can be long. We tried twice in late April to eat there and gave up both times after waiting more than 45 minutes each time on, I thought, less busy days--mid-week, off times (around 2:00). If you want to feed the kids and don't want a wait, try yacht club galley--the wait is never long, they take ADRs and am sure they have normal kids type food. They are not too fancy and are the same TS credit at B&C.

We've walked in around 3 pm before for a late lunch.

As far as the food goes, I would compare it to an upscale McDonalds. I didn't try the dessert because I was so full of cheeseburger and chocolate coke... but it certainly looked yummy!

It is considered a TS... so maybe go OOP.
