Can anyone share Garden Grove experience?

We have reservations for lunch on September 30 for a party of 19. I was hoping for the Coral Cafe, but was told by Concierge that the Coral Cafe would be closed for refurbishment at that time. Can anyone please give me your impression of this restaurant? The only menu I can find is from 04/02, and I'm not sure how accurate it is. Any help would be appreciated.

We really like this restaurant. I don't think the menu has changed much in several year. It is served family style and is all you can eat. It starts with salad and bread, and then you get skillets with marinated steak (really great) fried catfish, chicken, smashed potatoes (again, really good) vegetables, corn on the cob. Kids get their own skillet of chicken fingers and mac and cheese. The only change was dessert. Once we had strawberry shortcake. Last time it was lemon tart with sliced strawberries. Kids get their own glass of *dirt*, choc. pudding with gummy worms. It is a character meal, and we really had great interaction with all the characters. One one trip we were eating early (4:00 PM) and Minnie sat down and colored with my DS. Mickey came by and wanted to fight him for taking his woman!!! The whole restaurant slowly spins so you get different views as you dine!!
