A friend is looking for a 2-3 bedroom suite for one night in early November. I gave her the info on the villas Disney has (WL, Beach Club, etc) but she's looking for something a little less pricey, yet still close to Disney. Can anyone recommend a place? Thank you!

Cypress Pointe or Cypress Pointe Grandvillas. The later has elevators, the former are three stories without elevators. We've stayed in the Gvillas........very nice and great location, close to Downtown Disney. We prefer this area, actually.

You can usually find them on Hotelkingdom.com

:)

Marriott Grande Vista or Marriott Cypress Harbour would be my votes if staying off-site, or Hilton Grand Vacation Club or Vistana Villages. All are nice properties.

Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue has 2 bedrooms and free breakfast.

This resort is getting a lot of good feedback over on the UK board, we are hoping to do a budget trip in sept/oct and I am strongly considering Cypress Pointe over a Windsor hills rental, we love the LBV area too and at approx £35 ($70) per night for a 2 bed 2 bath suite it looks great.
We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages on south i-drive in May for two weeks and we had a 2 bed 2 bath suite which was lovely, and the resort was superb but over twice the price!

I second the motion for Cypress Pointe Grande Villas. We stayed there and really like the condo and the property.

Just out of curiosity, do you mind sharing where you found the $70 rate for a 2Br/2BA?

Hi :wave2:
Try http://www.hotelopia.com I'm not 100% sure you can book with them from the US but on the homepage you can change the currency to USD so it seems a possibility.
I searched for a 2bed suite for 14 nts 29Sept-13Oct and it came back at $71 a night - I was a dollar out with my guess!
Good luck.
