We have 13 days til we are home!!:cool1::cool1::banana::banana:

I no without a doubt that my boys are gonna want to go swimming and get in the water no matter what the temp. Well, if it's 30 degrees i could talk them out of it...probably not but would try.

I am hoping for some decently warm weather so they can swim. Are the pools definitely heated so they won't freeze their tushes off????

This one may make my mom have a heart attack if the pools aren't heated.

TIA!!

We stayed at BLT earlier this month when the air temps hovered at 50, and our DGC/DS "enjoyed" the water in the pools. DDiL and I stayed near the hot tub, that is, when we ventured into the pool area. :lmao:

I was told that all of Disney's pools are kept at about 75 degrees water temperature because a study was done and that is the optimum temperature that most people like.

Last year in February, it was usually cold - in the 30's and I was told by a lifeguard that they do keep them heated but this is based on the air temperature averaging 50 or above - when Florida gets really cold weather like they have been having it is hard for the water to get heated to a warm temperature. The heaters can only do so much.

So, the water should be warm, but if the air is cold, it won't feel like it is a heated pool - personally, I don't like swimming in cold water, but I know a lot of people do - you can give it a try - if it is too cold, then it will be a short swim. Have fun!

Kelly:)
