i hope this is on the right board, i am a rookie here....

my wife and i are renting from a DVC owner for our upcoming vacation and are trying to figure out how (best way) to purchase the actual park tickets
(6-day hoppers). That said, here are my questions:

Assume we buy from a website called "Undercover Tourist":

1. Would these tickets allow us to use FastPass?

2. When arrriving at the resort, do/can the cast member take the park tickets (which we bought elsewhere) and combine them on our room key(s)?

any help is much appreciated as we would be devistated to be w/o the fastpass option! thanks!!

I'll give it a stab and I'm sure if I'm wrong I'll be corrected.

Yes you should be able to use Fast pass option. I belive any valid WDW ticket works in the machines.

No I don't believe they won't be able to add them to your room key. You'll likely need to keeep them seperate.

Have a great trip.

1. Fastpass is no problem -- ANY modern Disney ticket will work.

2. No, your park tickets will remain seperate from your room keys.

We were at VWL in late January renting points and we purchased our tickets thru UndercoverTourist they were a good value and arrived quickly.

Yes, you definitley can use Fastpass we did quite a bit.

You can also upgrade your tickets if you need to e.g. add a day etc.

As far as adding to room keys, I asked at the desk and they said I could do it, however I decided not to because we had 10 day park hoppers - no exp which we are using over two trips and It was just easier to keep the original tickets.

BTW if you decide to buy from UndercoverTourists don't open the plastic bag they arrive in if you think there is any chance you'd have to return the tickets because they won't accept them if the plastic is opened. Also make a copy of the back of the tickets in case you lose them, that way you could get them replaced.

Just confirming - as long as your MYW ticket is unused, you can have it added to your room key when you check in. Doesn't matter where you bought it or how much you paid for it.

And as already posted, any ticket valid for admission will allow you to use the Fast Pass system.
