initially it got awful reviews on TA, recent ones seem somewhat better. It was on groupon last year for some time, usually not a good omen imo.

vegas location on strip is stellar, chicken & waffles to die for, but still on fence as to trying Orlando's version.

I might try. I loved the one in San Diego. I just hope they have the same huge portions.

We've been to hash house twice for breakfast and enjoyed.

It has been on groupon and travelzoo in the past. They also takekids eat free and eat and play cards.

It is very convenient for Universal if you have a car.

Yes, I've heard very mixed reviews about it from friends, not for us to be honest. We looked in and lots of tables were needing cleaned and it wasn't busy......so we left. Too many other places to try.......

Chicken and waffles though.......yum!!!

yes, one the recurring themes to reviews was lackluster staff and cleanliness issues. Diners are casual but shouldn't equate to messy.

wondering if they slack up as to staffing in the afternoons there, could expain the above issues. Majority of breakfast reviews seem positive.

We went to Medieval Times in Orlando. They had a buy one get one free promotion. Hubs got a regular meal and the rest of us got the Vegetarian. I think your son would be fine with both options.. Just avoid the bread. The food was just so-so. It was edible. However, the experience was a ton of fun and they had this village you could walk through and get a feel of what it was like living back then. Hubs and the kids have all said they wouldn't mind going back (just not for the food).

They do.....MASSIVE entrees. We went twice on our May 2015 trip: once for breakfast, once for dinner. Superb experiences both times. Excellent service, super delicious food, and the restaurant was sparklingly clean.

Yep, that one was 5 minutes from Universal top of IDrive..........

Wish I'd taken pics of it now before we left.

Think Janet may be right, trip advisor reviews are ok for breakfast and dixonsontour enjoyed breakfast.......we looked for dinner and wouldn't eat there.
