I noticed this Disney Princess Fantasy Faire listed on the calendar. My girls princess: princess: would probably love this, but I was wondering what it is. :confused3

THANKS for any info!

It's a princess meet and greet. A reallllly long line to meet 3 princesses. There's also a show that the kids can participate in. After the show, a princess comes out to read a story. You can skip the princess line and just see the show if you'd like. They also have coloring sheets, paper crowns to decorate and if you have money to spare, face painting. We got there 30 minutes before opening and waited for almost an hour. If your kids like princesses, the wait will be worth it, I'm sure. My 2 year old had a melt down after we waited all that time.:rotfl:

we haven't been since Nov 05, i know too long, but do the princesses still stand around the castle for meet and greet? we waited hours in line between all of them before and this sounds like it might be shorter. can you do both?

nope they don't unfortunately. The line is huge and you dont have a choice as to what princess you get to see.

Here is a link to a thread we had recently on the subject.

Thanks for that link. Hmmmm....I asked a CM about this Fantasy Faire thing when I called for dining ressies and she told me they decorate cupcakes, give little lessons in "princess manners", do crafts, girls can get their hair and nails done. That all sounds great.

The link doesn't really talk about any of that stuff happening, though, other than face paining - which we all here hate, and coloring crowns. I wonder if things have changed or if the CM wasn't too informed. :confused3

We are doing Ariel's lunch, Plaza for bfast, Goofy's, and Lilo's, so I don't think if it's just really standing in a hideous line to see a couple princesses it would be worth it for us.

Thanks for the info, though! :)

No problem. I really wish they would be around the castle again. I know it could be a waste of time checking to see if your princess was out but they were great photo ops and at least you could see if you wanted to stand in line or not.
