Can any readers help identify this cozy mystery?

[Simba's Mom]

A while ago I read a cozy mystery I really enjoyed, but now I can't remember the title or even the author. It was set at a condo development in Florida specifically for senior citizens. Someone was systematically killing off rexidents by leaving them annonymously cake. Near the end, a group of friends of one of the victims, after her funeral, went to a Bingo parlour (I think it was) and played in her honor. Does this book or general theme sound familiar to anyone? I always forget the title of books. Help-this is driving me crazy!

That's exactly it-Thanks so much! The book is Getting Old is Murder, but you're right-Rita Lakin has a bunch of others I can look for now.
