Hi All,

I'm currently booked Nov 5-8th at the DLH. Although I've never actually seen the hotel, I've kind of always wanted to stay there. I've been reading a lot of negative reveiws on the web and am now re-thinking my decision. It seemed as though everyone who stayed in one of the old rooms in the last few years had terrible things to say!

I know the hotel is under construction, which I don't really think would bother me, but I don't want to get a run-down room. Should I try to rebook for the Paradise Pier, and can I even do that? I booked a standard room under the fall-savings or something like that, and I can't really afford to upgrade. If I check in and my room is run down, can I ask for another, or would it just be too bad?

First off out of the available DLH rooms more than have will be remodled. So the odds are with you. Asking for a different room of the same level shouldn't be a problem anyhow.

PPH has slightly bigger room which may be nice. It's a further walk to the park which isn't. Both not big deals.

If you want to switch it shouldn't be a problem if done with enough time until your arrival.

If you request the dreams tower at the DLH it's been fully renovated.
