With the change in the costume policy, I am not sure. I know that no one can have toy "weapons", but not sure about the costume.
You all look greatDefinitely.

Love it.
I'm sure I know the answer to this, but I'd love to buy a hat for Pirate Night -- we cruise in two days. They *must* sell some on the ship, right?
Not really. You're more likely to find one at DTD or in the World. There's not really much for adults when it comes to costuming when onboard. There's an *excellent* hat store at DTD that had some pirate tricorns.
I know for sure they have the Minnie pirate headbands like what they sell outside pirates of the Caribbean at Disney world because I almost bought a pair but didn't but I will definitely buy them next time. I feel like there was a hat for boys too but I can't think of exactly what it looked like. I just think it was black. I'm not sure if they fit adults. The headbands are fine for kids or adults.Love it.

You're describing Disney bounding and Disney bounding is still allowed everywhereI heard about Disney World's policy about no more adult guest costuming. Is it the same on the ships (besides pirates)?
I don't have any actual costumes I would like to bring, but have packed real cloths that follow the fashion choices of some characters. A black dress and chiffon wrap that screams "Maleficent" for example, is something I'd like to wear to dinner on formal night. The biggest thing is the "three generations of Minnie Mouse" look. I have a pink dress with white dots for my granddaughter, a red full circle skirt with white dots for my adult daughter and a black 1920's skirt with white dots for me. All of us would add mouse ears. Mine with a hat and daisy, theirs with bows that coordinate with their skirts. We were planning on wearing these outfits for boarding day to get our bon voyage pictures in them.
Would we be asked to change?

There are pages on Facebook you can follow and people post their outfits. You might even see some bounds you never thought of before."Disney bounding" Wow! I had never heard that term before. I googled it and YES YES YES that is exactly the kind of thing I want to do! Thank you lizabu. I learned a new word and a discovered my niche of Disney fan culture!
