Hmm... if my math is right, I could save $25 with the kid's
CityPass plus upgrade.
Kid's 6 day park hopper: $190
Kid's SW/Universal combo: $109
Total: $299
vs.
Kid's SoCal CityPass: $229
Upgrade from 3-day to 6-day: $45 ($230 minus $185)
Total: $274
-----------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately, the savings are only $9 on an adult CityPass:
Adult 6 day park hopper: $216
Adult SW/Universal combo: $119
Total: $335
vs.
Adult SoCal CityPass: $276
Upgrade from 3-day to 6-day: $50 ($256 minus $206)
Total: $326
--------------------------------------------------
The Seaworld/Universal combo ticket does allow unlimited entry to either for 14 consecutive days, but we're only planning to do a day at each anyway.
The CityPass would allow a visit to the SD Zoo or Safari Park, which we don't plan on doing but it wouldn't hurt to have the option.
The CityPass seems like it would be the way to go. Is upgrading to more days a hassle? Can it be done online, or can you only do it at
Disneyland?
