Jordan and I were there in game 4 when the Ducks SWEPT the Wings in round 1 (yes, we were the eighth seed) in 2003.

So sweet.

Especially because there were these obnoxious (read: poor sport) Wings fans sitting behind us. I'm not sure what they were so arrogant about seeing how we were up 3 games to 0 in that first round... ha ha ha.

You know....that's just mean. Be careful, or I'll predict a "silent twin". then you'll be in trouble.

Wowzers!! You've got one crazy PTR going here. It took me a couple of days, but I finally made it through the highlights (read: pages 1-8 and everything on the table 'o contents). I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time. It's like I've found my BIL's long-lost twin! I look forward to joining along for the ride. 12 days out! Can't wait to hear and see all about it.

That's always my wish too! I hope that it works for you. I've gotten close on the sslooooowwwww trip once, but even then the last day came too soon. I'm already on my way to going the OTP in working on our Dec trip! Gotta get all of that obsessive stuff under control by the time we go or DH may never go with us again. Buy ohhh how he'll like what I can do with that info.

Hey, never be ashamed of your team. They were doing good until every one got injured...People were actually showing up at games again. I hear they are also actually broadcasting some games on TV again.... You never want to say it's good when someone dies...but things for the Blackhawks got better the day the owner, Wirtz died.

jord, thanks for asking, he is doing SOO much better. Getting stronger every day and almost back to his old self. It just night and day from what he was like the week they found the tumor.

about the hockey, Dh is the real fan. I just like a good fight and wear the jersey because hubby likes it, and well thats just a whole other post

I'm so glad to hear this. Is it wierd to say this but I can tell the difference in your "voice".
