Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

Hey Jordan I'm playing catch-up again. The itenerary looks great, good luck with the rope drops ...we're trying for the same thing. And it's cool that you'll have a vacation after your vacation - enjoy the 'grown up time' there and have a few beers for me ;)

You and I know that being from the West Coast, it's hard making those rope drops. However, I figure if we can make 2 during the first 2 days then we can take it easy the rest of the week.

Rethink the rope drops, trust me. :teeth:

ETA: well actually maybe you should do them because the first one we did at AK landed us a really cool Dream and then Gabby and I scored another Dream at the Rope Drop at MK on our last day. pixiedust:

Another West Coaster chimes in....

In addition to being from the West Coast, I am also somewhat of a night owl. I'm up late and sleep in.......

Although, when I'm at WDW all bets are off and I usually get up pretty up early...

I don't think I'm making much sense. I just took some OTC drugs and am kind of out of it......I have a Drs appt tomorrow....

Yeah, I've heard of several Dreams happening to friends at the rope drops, but for me and my younger DD we're early risers anyways. We're already talking about her and I going for rope drop, then having the rest of the crew follow later :D

We may do something similar, although we have had issues in the past where some folks in the group felt like others(me) were being selfish by doing what we(I) wanted and not considering the needs of the group....:confused3 :rolleyes1

I'm an east-coaster and don't make rope drop...and my WHOLE family is morning people, except for me! For some reason we AlWAYS miss by about 10 minutes, no matter how much time we allow. It's a conspiracy!

drugs=gud! :thumbsup2

I just took some more about 1/2 hour ago. It's starting to work......:faint:

Sorry you are sick and hope you feel better soon! Your itenerary looks real good.:thumbsup2

Thanks blue.....Doctor's appt. tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll get some real drugs to kick the bug out of me.....

same here. we're from CT and we normally sleep late at home but at WDW we always get up early... Still never made it to rope drop though!

I will spending most of my solo time here:

I want to go so bad!! I actually went to my FIRST sports bar last Sunday and I had so much FUN! It was great! And seriously - THE BEST NACHOS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!

But football season will be over by the time we get there so there's no point! :rotfl:

Personally (just to throw in my 2 cents) we love Ohana for breakfast adn for dinner! Every trip we go there on our first night, usually around the time that Wishes is and make sure we are seated when they pump the music in and you can see the fireworks from the windows. it's my way of getting in the Disney mood! The character breakfast is also a lot of fun and the food is poretty good and the juice is awesome.
thanks for sharing. I'm looking more into fitting this one in.:thumbsup2

This picture made me cry. Beautiful.
*Everyone departs except me.:thumbsup2

What a great way to end a week of vacation with some downtime. You have talked about ESPN so much in your PTR I am going to have to fit it in some how. We will be there during football season and DH and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE college football.

Yeah, the rope drops will be tricky and we'll just have to go with the flow on it (I've promised I won't get frustrated if some of us are ready and others are still sleeping/puttering around).

I sooo want to just get up, grab Bean (DD8) and get out there but I can see how it would cause confilct. The way I see it is if people want to rest, let them rest, but don't make others just sit on their hands all morning waiting for them. I guess we'll see how it works out.

 What did the doctor say? :goodvibes

Yes, how ya doing - any better? Hope it's not an infection or anything like that.

Did I already say hi to you on here today jordan, not sure, I talked to you on other threads, not sure about yours.

HELLOOOOOOOOOO JOOORDDANNNNNN:)

So how was the dr's?

I'm one who loves making it for rope drop. I get a weird adrenalin rush out of it. It reminds me of being at wal mart for the sale the morning after thanksgiving. I know, I'm sick!:)

 What did the doctor say? :goodvibes

She said that I have high blood pressure and scolded me for not taking my meds.

I may be asthmatic. so she gave me an inhaler

She gave my cough syrup for my cough--which is not bronchitis.

And finally, some antibiotics to kick out the sinus infection.

I can't believe you hadn't been to a sports bar before...

Check out the College hoops schedule...March Madness maybe going on around the time that you are there.

The ESPN Club is one of my favorite things to do at WDW, especially if I'm staying at the BW or BCVs. There's nothing like being able to WALK to a sports bar like ESPN.

The waiting thing happened to me in Feb 05 when I went w/ my roommates. they are much more laidback and will take their time getting up and ready. My friend, Donna, and I ended up wasting alot of time waiting for them. Sometimes up to an hour and a half. My advice would be to gauge reaction to having the rest of your party just meet up w/ you. If the wife seems at all resistant then...bummer for you....However, if the rest of the party doesn't care...:thumbsup2 ...more park time for you and Bean....

It's a fine line to walk. Good luck to you.

No real infection, but for not being too sick, I sure got alot of drugs to take.:confused3

My inhaler and blood pressure meds are for chronic stuff....

Wassssup.....brother Dan.

So how was the dr's?

Better than expected on one hand.

Worse because of the fact I have to use an inhalant and my BP is high. So back on Blood Pressure Meds.:sad2:

You are sick....but I  you anyway, bad tooth and all....;)

sick, but in a good way.......right??:rotfl2:

I'm glad you don't have anything serious. Your trip to DW should help your blood pressure, of course the planning might make it worse!

Of course in a good way.:thumbsup2

About the planning....I'll be updating the planning madness going on....more ADR confusion.......it's getting even crazier.

Uh oh!!

Glad it's nothing too serious, even if you did get lots of meds.

Hopefully, you'll be feeling better again soon!!

Sinus infections are no fun! The second most miserable I've ever been in my life was with a really serious sinus infection (the first was severe food poisoning after a Cancun vacation). Hope you're feeling better soon.

I will say that Mucinex helps a lot w/ the congestion. If you'll take it when you notice that you're starting to feel congested, it can help things not turn into a sinus infection. I just wish they'd call it something else....

Take care of yourself & get some rest!

Jordan--at this moment (11:32 pm CST), your pretrippie has exactly 10X more views than my pretrippie! 12,921 to 1,292 (okay, so I dropped the "1" because it's mathematically insignificant.)Uh-oh...I hope my pretrippie doesn't get jealous again...Gee, maybe I should have posted this on MY pretrippie to make it feel better...:upsidedow
