We will be at the Poly July 24th - Aug 4th. My daughters best friend will be at CS during the same time. We know the girls will want to spend the night together a few times. They will not be staying in our room because we are a family of 5, so no extra room......but her friend has a family of 3 and the CS sleeps 4 so would it be okay for my daughter to "spend the night" at thier hotel? Thanks in advance!!!

I don't see a problem per se. There is no additional fee for a second child in a room with two adults. Your not going over the designated occupancy and there is no concierge issue.

I'm thinking that perhaps for the sake of safety (in case of emergency the hotel needs to know how many people are in a room) the other couple should notify the hotel that your daughter is there and is spending the night. I don't think it should be a problem.

Thanks justynsaunt!

Does anyone know if it would be okay if the my daughter went swimming with her friend at the CS or would that be a big no-no?

My wife keeps telling me no!:jester:

Seriously, there should be no problem spending the night; if you let the front desk know, you might be able to get a key for her.

Good luck.

Technically no, but have her friends parents list her on their registration and then she'll be a registered guest, so it will be fine :)

I think that if she spends the night at CSR there isn't any harm in her using the pool. CSR is not a pool easily accessed by the parks (like at MK resorts or SB. I don't think they have a problem with pool hopping. Perhaps she can be their "registered" guest for the night. It would not cost extra. If you want to reciprocate the "hospitality" shown to your daughter perhaps the other family (or just the girl) can join you all for dinner at the Poly and watch the EWP from the beach. That would be a nice way to "invite them over" ,but not using your room or the pool to do so.

I would think that with all the family groups that choose to meet at WDW, there is a constant stream of cousins, buddies and others that move around among the various resorts.
