My 171/2 year old daughter would like to do the Dolphins in Depth Tour, but neither I nor my 77 yr old Mom are interested, we thought we would do the Garden tour while daughter did Dolphins. Will a signed waiver suffice?? Anyone have experience with this ?? Thanks!

I read on another thread that a signed weiver is all you need, but as Dan said, I would call.

I called-The answer was no. 17 and under must have a participating and paying adult with them. Oh well.

I took this straight off the Cast Portal

The Walt Disney World(R) Resort - Tours

Save 15 % at Disney's Dolphins in Depth at The Living Seas at EPCOT®

Disney's Dolphins In Depth at The Living Seas at EPCOT® allows you not only to explore the world of Atlantic Bottle nose dolphins, but to actually see research projects in progress. You will learn and see if dolphins really do have the ability to plan their own behavior. Most importantly, you will meet them up close and personal, in the water! You are guaranteed to get wet, and most likely splashed, by our resident dolphins. You don't need to swim or be scuba certified to enjoy this program, but you will need to be 13 or over to experience the magic of these beautiful creatures.

The program provides guests with a T-shirt and a souvenir of their interaction!

Tours are offered Mondays through Fridays at 9:45 a.m. and last 3 1/2 hours.

And now - Disney Club members can save 15% on Disney's Dolphins In Depth!

That sounds to me as if she CAN go without either one of you.

My DD did Dolphins in Depth at 16 (June 2002) and Aqua Seas at 17 (April 2003). Make sure that you sign the consent form. We asked about the form for Aqua Seas and they told us we didn't need to sign one. About 20 minutes later we received a frantic call and had to rush through the crowds at Living Seas to sign the form. I think they felt bad and let us wait for her in the tour lounge. We had a great time talking to the staff about the programs while she swam in the fish tank. By the way my DD loved both tours.
