Those of you that take your doggies along, what do you do with them while you're at the park? We have 2 large dogs, one of which can't be trusted to be alone out of her crate. The other is fine with whatever. How long do you leave them alone in the camper? For those that use the doggie day care, how much does it cost?

Last year, we took our dog to the Best Friends Pet Care right on site. They provide wonderful service and we are using them again this year. The cost depends on the accommodation requested but they do offer a discount if you are staying on site. They open one hour before the park and close one hour after the park. I also did look into Bass Pet Resort & Spa in Kissimmee and would have used them if Best Friends didn't have an opening. Good luck!

I do not use doggie daycare, but its a thought for our 2nd trip for a day or two. However, our schedule is usually pretty dog friendly. If we do head out for park opening, we are usually back by lunch for some downtime from the parks which they can get walked and have some of their peoples time. Then we head back out till evening, so sometimes they get a late dinner, but usually no worse then at home. I figure it this way they are used to us being gone for 10-12 hours a day at home, so if its 5-6 hours on vacation it is still fair. And since their are usually down mornings, dinners in and even a complete down day from the parks they get their share of time with us and the dog park.

We took ours to Best Friends when we spending a long day at the park, otherwise he's kennel trained and stays in the kennel in camper. We did leave the tv on so just to have a little noise. I don't know if I can find any of our prices from Best Friends, I'll check, but would recommend them, thought they were good. We only boarded him during the day about 3 times on our 14 day stay because most of the time we were back at camper for different things anyway!

We only board our dogs for the days we are at the park as well. Since we don't have a big rig (Roadtrek), it is a better environment at Best Friends than being cooped up in the RT. We are going the week of Christmas Day this year and planned two long days at the parks, back to back. Normally, we would have some down time but I am concerned about the crowds. The cost is roughly $70/day for our two dogs (sharing a room).

We bring our dogs with us as well. We leave one dog in her crate in the camper and the other two roam our trailer. We typically leave them for the length we would leave the while at work. They always do fine. If we know we will be gone when the fireworks go off we leave the tv on for them to try and drown out the noise. Our pups love going with us. As soon as we start packing they are at the truck waiting!

We crate ours while we go to the parks. We typically take a mid-afternoon break back at camp, so they're not alone from morning to midnight. My husband insists on leaving the tv on for them. ;) They're ok with it.

We took our 2, 4 legged kids, when we went in April. We would not be gone longer than 4 hours at a time. We took them to the doggie park numerous times during the day. They loved the Golf Cart. We are heading to the FORT Jan 1st & they will stay with our Son & his family. We felt they will be happier playing with our three (3) legged grand dogs this trip. We would used Best Friends if we were staying at the parks all day. Safe travels.

Our puppy is comfortable in her crate and it keeps her safe while we are out and about at Disney. Usually she's not left alone for more than 5 hours at a time. We put the TV on the Disney channel so she knows where she is (LOL) and it provides a sound barrier for fireworks or kids playing outside. A friend used Best Friends for a few days of their vacation and raved about the great attention. Best Friends Kennel offers different rates and accommodations and they are listed online. Starting at $29, $38, $48 and up. Enjoy!

for long days we used best friends. Great folks, make sure you are up to date on shots and flea free coming in.

Short days, large create in camper with TV / radio on. Usually left disney park channel on to share the magic!

ok to pretty good dog park at FW. I enjoyed the morning and evening walks with my dog... Its fun to have a buddy to explore with .

Our boys stay in their crates when we leave them in the camper, just like at home. Too much mischief otherwise! When we travel they are in crates for about half the time as they are during a normal work/school day.

After just coming back from a dog-free trip (and kid-free as well), I really appreciate the fact that having our dog boys along with us forces us to take nice long breaks in the day and just chill out.
