Camping!*we are back!*

we are back!!
We had a great time, and we were warm as toast at night in our sleeping bags!!
We found a lovely site half a mile outside Barmouth-Hendre Mynach-great facilities all refurbished, free hot water, showers etc.
The only downer was the amount of rain we had when we got there on wednesday, just started to remember how much fun it isn't putting a tent up in pouring rain and windy conditions....
Thursday was a wash out until late afternoon when the sun finally appeared, we went to a craft place and then to a waterfall, lots of walking there! we are all shattered but it was great fun had by all!
There were quite a few tents around, than i thought would be.I will put some photos up of the girls over this weekend.(if i can remember how to do it!)

Have a lovely time.

We are planning our first camping trip for end of May bank holiday. I have never been before, I have a huge fear of bugs. My dh said that if you keep your sleeping quarters closed then no bugs will get in. I hope he isnt lying to me. My dd is so excited she is 6.

We are also taking our twin boys of 2. I was a little worried about taking our boys. So I will be sleeping with Casey and dh with the boys.

I am looking forward to it. We managed to find a tent somebody can lend us incase I hate it.

Don't worry about bugs you will be fine, the sleep compartments are all enclosed, just keep it zipped up! take citronella candles with you,for outside the tent, that wards off nats etc.

Glad you had a good time, our friends stay at Hendre Mynach every year. Its a lovely little site and is perfect for the beach. They usually go in the summer months and it gets really full.

sounds like you had a great time!

I remember when we all used to go camping and it would only rain when we are putting the tent up, it would than stay lovely and sunny until it was time to take the tent down and than it would rain again!

My mum was trying to get my daughter to ask me to take her camping, however my daughter said she would rather stay in the Pink Hotel at Disney!!
