Can we utilize the pool over at the Wilderness Lodge resort?
I am hoping to have at least 1 dining meal there as well.

Thanks in advance

Dan from NY

Dan,
I'll gently tell you no, pool hopping is not permitted - other than a few special circumstances like a pool being closed for rehab or for DVC members.
If any of the WL faithful see this they will probably flame you, it's a pretty touchy subject for some.

Ahhh, Oooo I see..
It was a thought, but I'd guess they'd be touchey for spending so much more and having those campers from over yonder cannonballing in their pool.

I'm certainly still new at many things WDW, I don't generally use the pools myself.

Thanks for the gentle, NO. :teacher:

The gentle answer was nice. :upsidedow

Unfortunately Disney will issue you a not-so-gentle answer in the form of a big red "NO POOL HOPPING" stamp across your check in docs.

But you're in luck, as they recently finished a renovation of the FW pool - complete with spiffy slide, hot tub and a snazzy splash zone for the kiddos. :thumbsup2

Just for laughs, I like to go over to WL, grab some towels from the towel cart, put them over about 6 lounge chairs and loudly announce I am camping at FW and going to catch the bus for MK and come back later in the afternoon for a swim.

Gotta say - DH and I walked by that towel cart a bunch and I was very tempted to "borrow" a few rather than have to do laundry... :rotfl:

Ooh, they do have nice towels!:thumbsup2

What do we get at the Fort? Last time I was there one ply toilet paper you could see through but still sand a 2x4 with!:rotfl2: I take my own.:thumbsup2

They looked pretty nice, and I gotta say I was amazed they just leave the cart out, and open, at all hours. Hmm... I wonder if the boat captain would say anything if someone came rolling down the dock with a cart full of towels??

We get..... um...... wait, it'll come to me..... uh...... hmmmm...... :confused3

It's not like the WL people don't come over to the Forts new waterpark. But yes, they most likely will get upset IF,they know you are from the Fort.
And thats why I go to the Coronado Springs Resort pool instead,,I like it better anyways,:thumbsup2

You know, last summer after a major downpour had us running for cover at the trading post I casually mentioned the fact that towels would be nice. The CM picked up the phone, called housekeeping, and miraculously, there were TOWELS at our site when we got back. I always wondered what housekeeping did at FW without a "house" to keep. I never would have thought they'd bring towels. Guess I should have asked sooner... :goodvibes

They must have gotten a hold of the cabin mousekeeping folks. I've never thought to conveniently take a loop around the cabins as the little "linen train" is going around when I don't feel like doing a load of wash. ;)

That is officially know as John Wayne toilet paper, it's rough and tough and don't take no crap off of anybody! :lmao:
