Camping near Universal?

We have ressies at FW for a week, but would like to add on a few days at Universal. Does anybody know of any campgrounds closer to Universal? If so, which one, how near, and how would you rate it? Thanks so much.

I don't know of any campgrounds that would be closer to Universal than FW.

I stayed at Sherwood Forest RV park in 1994, and it was very clean and quiet. That was 13 years ago, though, so it could have changed. I'm not sure if it's closer to UO than Fort Wilderness, but it might be less expensive. Check out RVParkReviews.com as well for some reviews. Many camping message boards also have campground reviews. One of my favorites is popupexplorer.com. It's geared toward pop up camping, but they have a nice section with reviews.
