Camping in January

We are planning a visit to WDW in January 06. Our friends called to reserve a camp site from December 31-january 7th 2006. The campground is already booked up!! Is this normal? Do you think they will be able to get a campsite? October of 2005 still has space. They may go then, but unfortunately we will not be able to go with them. We make are new Year reserve every january for the next New year. Check the Internet Every hour to see if there any opening every day or try to change your days to come in after Jan 3. Good Luck
