We just bought a Coleman Pop-up (with air) and are thinking of adding another summer trip to WDW. We will be there for the first two weeks of June (one week off-site timeshare condo, the other week on-site All Star Sports). Now that we have the camper we would like to take along one grandmother and one nephew (added to our family of three). My questions are these: 1) will it be unbearably hot in early August, even with the air? 2) we would only be able to stay 5 nights - do you think it's worth a 10+ hour drive pulling a pop-up for only 5 nights? 3) if we utilize fastpass and take mid-day rest breaks do you think this trip seems manageable? Thanks for any and all advice.

Hi Lisa!

Yes, it will be hot and the parks will be crowded - but just keep in mind that you don't have to do EVERYTHING on this one trip. Take plenty of breaks - go back to the campground in the mid-afternoons for a nap or a swim or just to sit in the shade at your campsite and read!

Fastpass will definitely help you, as will Early Entry mornings - definitely make use of them!

Don't plan on seeing every attraction in every park. Maybe pick out a few things in each park that you really want to do/see and just stick with them. Then you won't feel so rushed, and you have a much more relaxing vacation!

I think you will have a wonderful time - even if it's only for 5 days! It's worth the drive! :D

Don't forget to see the campfire program one evening, and the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach at 9:45!
