Recently, I was at FW and met a guy who told me there was a travel agent that could get reservations for sites at times the campground may otherwise be sold out, and possibly even discounts on sites. He even gave me a phone number. Unfortunately, my phone crashed and I lost the number. Does anyone know if this is true and where I might find sucha person?

Thanks

I hate to point this out, but, this whole site was created by "Dreams Unlimited Travel". Look up at the very top of the page. You'll find a link where you can ask for reservations help. (And I'll bet you thought this was sponsored by Disney)

on the dreams site though, you can not request a quote for the campsites at fort wilderness. It only allows you to select the Cabins.

I would have totally gone through Dreams instead of doing it myself if they offered it.

If you send an email to Rhonda at Dreams (as I previously posted), she will handle Fort Wilderness reservations. I believe she is the only agent at Dreams Unlimited that will handle camping reservations.

Write to Rhonda. She can book campsites, make dining ressies and everything. She's the best! rhonda@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com

We've used her the last two trips and couldn't have been happier. Even had a split ressie with other family members at other resorts and she worked it out great.

I give Rhonda the thumbs up as well. Email is the best way to reach her, so just let her know what you need.

I do believe that the site was created by Pete Werner.

Dreams Unlimited is a sponsor just like other companies (The Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin and Tour Guide Mike) sponsor the forums.

Pete is still the owner and webmaster.

Thanks Pete!

Wow, how embarrasing. I have never gone to the original site, I just have the forum page as a favorite. I'll be emailing Rhonda now, thank you for the help.

While you are sort of right, you should know that Pete is an owner of Dreams Unlimited.
