Could someone point me in the right direction of a map of the Fort?

Tim5055's site listed above is stocked with tons of very usefull and up to date information pertaining to ALL aspects of Fort Wilderness and definitely worth a thorough browsing! I hit that site often and find new information every visit.

Oooo, thanks. I wish that map had a scale on it. Any idea how far it is (in miles) from one end of the park to the other?

It is about 1.35 miles to walk from the Outpost Depot (bus stop) to the end of the dock (where you catch the boats) if you walk along the sidewalk following Fort Wilderness Trail. It is about 1.45 miles if you take Big Pine Dr.

In the earlier maps...it quoted "One mile as the crows fly"!!! Thats a brer measurement, I guess...but it is approximately one mile from the check in to the lake.

edit: Shan got to it before me...but I wouldnt question him...he's got the Fort measurements down to an exact science!!!

As far as I know...its the latest version. Dont get WIFI confused with FREE WIFI though.......it still charges you the $10/24hr
