We are planning 1 day at MK in June. Considering touring strategies. Seems as if rope drop is not a good way to "get ahead of the crowd" unless staying on property.
Please share your feedback on reserving a spot at the least expensive campground option as a way to get the 30 min prior to official open park entry.
I think it's just a matter of dividing the cost of the camping site by the number of people staying and looking at it as an "add-on" cost like G+ or ILL, except instead of making a ride reservation, we'd be getting the opportunity to rope drop as early as we can wake up and get in line.
I asked in the dining forum, but I'll also ask here too: are there any pre-park open dining options at MK anymore that may provide some early touring advantage?
